On behalf of SGN, JDT recently undertook a large gas mains replacement scheme across multiple roads in Broadstone & Corfe Mullen. Our planning team work closely with BCP Council, permission sought to utilise a section of green space for storage of our equipment in Lewesdon Drive. The project involved the replacement of over 3 kilometres of metallic gas main undertaken over a 6 month duration.

Following successful completion of the scheme discussions were held with local councillor Vikki Slade on how we could contribute to the restoration of the green space. It was decided JDT would make a donation to Broadstone Fields in Trust Association. This would fund the purchase of bulbs to cover the area that can be sown in the early autumn by the local community.

Councilor Vikki Slade has confirmed a sign will be installed in the spring to honour the generosity of JDT, additional photos of the community will also be sent when the flowers begin to bloom.
